This would be lo lace a 16" Harley rim to a Honda rear hub. 40 spoke. I want to lace this kit - http://loudfastugly.com/chrmandacc/rimspok.htm

That is hilarious. Use the speedo fix thread and then take the console apart. There are screws in the back of the console and one really teeny one in knob on the front.

General Wiring Question - Directly From Batt

Been cleaning and polishing aluminum today. She is looking better. I rode her around today, what a difference from my bike. This thing feels so tiny and nekkid! Does not have the uumpgh either but I expected that. Not like it can't be bumped up 10 or 20 hp without too much work. Well, she starts, idles, runs, sounds, drives, brakes and corners well. Still may stand some seafoam and a sync but sure glad I do not have to worry about the major stuff. I can work on her cosmetically and make it fit Mrs. GigaWhiskey as well as ask her what she wants done. Before too long, she may actually be driving it!

Stay away from Sony no matter what product they have on the shelf! Quantity has been overtaken quantity in the recent years (I would not own another Sony product even if it was free). Tiz, why I do not have a Blue Ray player or a Playstation 3 (I have an XBOX and XBOX 360 even though I am not a MS fan either - if you are worse than MS, that is a real problem), waiting for the prices to drop on other Blue Ray players. CD players are not a real option on bikes and every slight bump and jolt they will skip. You would be better off wiring an MP3 player into the system or using a cassette adapter with one. Diagrams on the site.

So, you have intentions of being slower Brian? Naughty, Naughty! lol

Sweet! And she looks great too! Brownie got a new friend too! Can't wait to trim it up somethin' sweet!

Well, Mrs GigaWhiskey has a new ride and I got some work to do! She now owns a 1975 CB750K. In the pics, there is a quick before and after (as soon as I got home!). Basically, now it looks like a motorcycle. It is still a bit tall for her challenged inseam but that will be a no brainer. It may see some lowering blocks, shorter shocks and a 16" back rim with a nice fat tire. Then I will need to see how I can trim some from the front. I may consult Rick "Butt" Butler about the seat or look for a new one. I am going to enjoy this project! She runs good too and no signs of ever going down. She actually may be the 3rd owner of this bike where the 2nd one had it only 6 months. The story is the original owner was 75+ and could not deal with it any longer. If those miles on the speedo are right, there is close to a new bike there. 'specially when I get my hand deeper into it. Oh, Mrs. GigaWhiskey actually likes the old school cafe racer look, go figure, lol.

Since this is soo easy, why do we need to be graded off in school for spelling? Who cares if you can read it, lol.

Hey Bob, thanks again for the offer but a guy at work is going to loan me his truck. So, I am now covered for getting the bike, just gotta get it in and out. This guy has a VMax with a warble so I know how I will be paying him back, lol.

Another Whine
GigaWhiskey replied to hdroyer's topic in Venture and Venture Royale Tech Talk ('83 - '93)
hdroyer, just take a pair of pliers and loosen the cable nut at the wheel hub. Pull the cable out and snug the cable nut back on. Drive for a minute and you will know for sure where it is coming from. The colder it is, the louder it seems to get. -
battery or stator?
GigaWhiskey replied to painterman67's topic in Venture and Venture Royale Tech Talk ('83 - '93)
Scary thought. -
Wow, a lot of fun gone. I do understand why though. Even though these are not production race bikes, they sure like the twisties.

I wish it was a real plate! No worries, I have worked on a few of these in my time. I just need to find one for me to complete the his/her set, lol. They wont look stock either. Git a load of some of these. Yea, Granpa Gunboat to the rescue! I do not expect him to run all the way up here. That is a whole lotta driving. Thank you for thinking about it Granpa Gunboat!
