    I am trying to view the Cowling 1 fische at BB and it is unreadable for the MKII's( looked at 89). Is there one that is readable somewhere else?

    Thanks for the help bong! I have a NOS splitter so I should be good there. That metal thing in pic 3 looks like it might be the frame that holds the CB but looks different than in the guide.

    I forgot I had the hard copy of that. Thanks for reminding me! The schematics show for MKI's and maybe why it does not have the passenger controls setup and why that first pic does not look familiar.

    Can I get some help identifying parts? Please What does the electrical connection go to?     I am on the fence about letting her go finally. I have been aggravated with things surrounding her the last couple years. I have brought it up to Erika a few times and she flat out says NO. lol. I am actually getting tired of her (the bike). Heck, I spend more time on her bike now. I really like it. It makes me feel young again.

    I was figuring it was as you described. I had better check to see if I have that power connector in the fairing. It has been so long now I cannot remember. If you could dig that out (at least it is not on the bike yet, lol) and snap a pic, that would be awesome! Thanks bong!

    I have had the CB for a while. That was one of things I was missing. She runs good. Rainey did not wanna come home after that ride a few weeks ago. You and Brownie doing good?

    Can someone upload a pic here of what the cable looks like from the cb to the tuner on a 1st gen? Good pics of the ends would be nice too. I am trying to buy one and I want to make sure it is what I will get. Thanks y'all!

    That's funny. I am used to hearing "what do I do while my computer boots up". One of them is to go brew a pot of coffee.

    Try and duplicate what was originally there to begin with. Now that I see it without the oem striping & color, I think it needs it. It make it looks smaller but still look huge and does not make your eyes wonder what is missing. Edit: I think oem colors are more on the dark side for the g1. Yours is much lighter and that may have something to do with it. The darker colors may fit more with the seat, wheels, tires n stuff. Yanno, kind of blend in.

    You could be very right. My daughters Nintendo DS was in an Asian language and wanted me to fix it. I spent 20 minutes on and and gave up. Asked my 8 year old son, 7 at the time, if he could fix it. He had it back in English in two minutes. Dude, I rarely drink anymore but still have some Bookers left. I do not live up to the name I have anymore. In fact, on another forum I changed it to TipperT. (Tipper Turtle) Why and what it means to me is unknown, I must have been drunk, lol. The doc put me on the South Beach diet cause I had some really high cholesterol levels and I was starting to get heavy. No drinking on the diet, I had to give up caffiene too. Lost 32lbs so far, got another 23 to go. Hope things are well with you brotha!

    Well, I do not have an amp, I have the rest of it though. What years have the same amp as mine? Does anyone have one they would sell me? Hope this request does not violate the new rules.

    $50 is a very good price for these. I paid about double for my six. Have fun changing all 6 of these with the engine in, it was a motha of a job. Oh, I cut out the baffle in the collector while I was there, I ordered all new crush gaskets, new clamps & nuts & bolts. Getting the front pipes off what a motha too.
