  1. I'm talking legally. Anybody here use it for chronic pain? I've been curious about it and it's analgesic and Bronchodilator properties. The meds I'm on now work ok, but give me headaches and nausea.
  2. I know, sounds silly. But when we say we use a 4" speaker in the first gen., is that measured diagonally from mounting hole to mounting hole? Or is that actually the diameter of the speaker? Measured diagonally, center to center, the mounting holes are 4.5" apart on the first gen. Thanks, Bill
  3. Looks good. What software did you use to make your design?

To you and all the other quitters, THANK YOU! You'll be thanking yourself later, just as most, if not all, the people in your life are already thanking you.
  5. Good reminder! I just checked my info and everything is up to date. Don't be shy. If you ever in the area and need assistance, please feel free to give me a call. Or just wanna hang out and BS. Thanks, Bill
  6. Well I did take a few pics the other evening. I quit shoveling around them for the past few snow falls and let the mail woman drive on past all week hoping that the other neighbors would get the hint. But then yesterday a front end loader came and cleared the snow away. The dang neighbors get off again! But I do thank the driver of the loader. He didn't have to do it. I'm guess ing the mail woman was also complaining to someone. I called the USPS general support earlier this week to find out what I can legally do and they took my number/name and told me the appropriate person would be getting a hold of me within 48 hours. Guess what... NO ONE HAS CALLED! Go figure. LOL Thanks, Bill
  7. I also use LED driving lights. Not so much as to light my way but more to make myself more visible to oncoming traffic. They also do well to light up the roadsides for those critters that come across the road at the last second and roadside signs.
  8. That about sums it up. I spend the money for the fuel and wear on my snow blower, and then shovel what the blower can't get to. With a degenerative joint disease and bad asthma, it can really be difficult and/or painful. I thought it would've been common sense that all the owners should share the expense/responsibility. I know I wouldn't feel so swell of myself while letting someone else take care of my stuff. Bill
  9. How about speaker options for the 1st gens? If i remember right, they're 4.5" aren't they? I'm about to resort to finding a good pair of 4" speakers and make a plate to take up the extra .5".
  10. I could use some advice. I live in Thorp, WI. and I have 3 other mailboxes in front of my house on my property besides my own. The owners of the other 3 mailboxes won't help maintain the area in front of or around them so the postal carrier can keep our mail delivered. I don't think one of them is even being used. During the winter months, I have to keep the snow cleared out in front of them, or we get a notice from the carrier that they will not deliver our mail unless the snow is cleared away. Now I'm getting tired of maintaining OTHER peoples mailboxes. These mailboxes are NOT the responsibility of the USPS. Now how can I get these other mailboxes removed from the front of MY house? I'm sure I can't simply take down the mailboxes that don't belong to me and give them to the owner and tell them to take care of them themselves without getting into trouble. A federal offense? Does anybody have a possible solution or helpful advice as to how to resolve this issue without me resorting to being a jerk?
  11. Now did the program disappear, or did someone just accidentally delete the icon/shortcut from your desktop or programs folder? There's also the option of using an external hard drive or flash/thumb drive to put a XP installation onto. Most newer systems will allow you to boot from a USB device. I still use the ever reliable XP Pro OS. Well as reliable as a Windows OS can be anyway. I do like Windows 7, but some of the options I've gotten used to over the years in XP were either down graded or lost in Windows 7. I like being able to customize my OS to suit my needs. Now if Microsoft ever gets their heads out of their butts and would make these options available in Windows 7, I would gladly install it on all my PC,s. Bill
  12. Ya! What the last two stated.
  13. Or does it seem that nobody bothers to answer their phones anymore? I'm not talking about my friends or relatives either. However some of them don't like to answer their phones either. I'm talking about businesses, employers, etc.. Just to name a couple, I've been trying to reach a guy who contacted me via email about a lab tech. job and he never answers his phone. I keep leaving messages but he doesn't call back. Last summer I had applied for another job not to far from home that payed well. The woman who was in charge of setting up new employee start dates called me but called the wrong number. I got her message about setting up a my start date about 5 days later. I called her asap but she wouldn't return my calls. I got a hold of the main office to explain what happened and I was told I didn't pass their physical. I asked what par of the physical I didn't pass and I was told that the people who performed the physical didn't supply that information. Which sounded fishy seeing as how the message was to discuss my start date. There has been more than one time when I was looking for some goodies of some sort during normal business hours and they didn't answer the phone, I simply left a message that seeing as how there was nobody to answer the phone, I was going to take my business elsewhere. The last tie I was looking for a dentist, I made about 4 calls to different dentists until I got to one that was actually open or bothered to answer the phone. Now I know people get busy or have other issues arise, but it seems to be happening more and more. Ok, ok, enough ranting.I just needed to vent a bit. I've just been looking for a better job and it doesn't seem as though I'm being taken very seriously. I'm glad riding season is almost here! Bill,
  14. At the airport and waiting! Na na, boo boo, stick your head in doo doo!
  15. I'll be taking the laptop with me so I can easily transfer pics from the camera. The internet service is ridiculously expensive on the ship so I will have to use their Internet Cafe or whatever it's called to upload pics. Whatever i do, I be keeping every posted on the events. TTYL, Bill P.S. She doesn't believe me that she has to start listening to me after we get married. It's like the law or something right? Ya know... love, honor , AND obey.
  16. ONLY A WEEK LEFT!!!
  17. Not to sound stupid myself or make anybody else sound stupid either, but there are also a couple bolts holding the collector onto the bottom of the engine. It's not just the clamps holding the collector onto the header pipes that are keeping the collector in place. Just thought I would mention it in case they've been overlooked. That's something I coud do myself if I get distracted. Damn ADHD! Oooo.... shiny.......
  18. Well you could always use a piece of the screen that you cut off an won't be using anymore to do some testing on. Bill
  19. As with anybody in his position, I hope he get exactly what he deserves. Nothing more, nothing less.
  20. And to top things off, I got a couple sticks of computer memory yesterday that were supposed to be brand-new, unused, unopened, in the original packaging and undamaged. Neither of them work and clearly have been used. I checked my Paypal account to see about having my credit card company help me get my money back, only to find out I must have not kept my credit card information up to date and the money came directly out of my bank account. D'OH! So there went that little piece of mind. LOL! I figured I might give this guy one more week then do some real *****ing to ebay. This guy has a feedback score of 15142 and is 99.8% positive. I'm assuming that their feedback can't be forged somehow.
  21. I'm just curious if anybody here has done much business with China and has had any packages shipped here to the US. I ordered a laptop battery on 11/17/2010 on ebay and I still haven't received it. After 5 weeks with no delivery and the information available via the tracking number having not been updates since 11/19/2010, the sender finally sent out another battery on 12/25/2010. Now that tracking information on that battery hasn't been updated since 12/27/2010. I asked that he use an express method for the second shipment, but he chose to use the same service in spite. How long should it take to get a small package from China? Jeannie ordered a handmade dress from China for our wedding after I ordered my battery and she got it last week already. I just don't know for sure if I should file a complaint with ebay or just be more patient. Seven weeks seems like an awful long time. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks, Bill
  22. I think that was a great idea to illustrate his point. I myself would like to see the US split up into it's subcategories. I can't help but feel that we're screwing ourselves. One thing that keeps popping into my head is how our economy is struggling, yet the cost of living just keeps going up and up. It just seems like big business is just getting greedier and greedier. JMHO, Bill
  23. Hey! That looks like what Jeannie might be interested in. She doesn't really like the full face helmet I got her and has been looking at the 3/4 helmets. I think she would like the idea of being able to put the chin piece when in cool or rainy weather. I also like the light on the back of it and the breath deflector. But I have to wonder how well the chin piece would hold up in a crash. They must be only available in Canada or something. I can't find them on any US websites. All the dealers listed on their site are also in Canada. Thanks, Bill
  24. Maybe she's just trying to tell you in her own little way that she wants you to get a 1st gen. and take her for a ride.
  25. There's also one all put together and ready to go in the store near me as well I went with this one. I just put some 3/8 treated plywood on it and bolt down a car top cargo carrier to it when I want to go camping. It also comes in very handy for a ton of other stuff when I take the carrier off, both behind the bike and car. I also put some of those LED trailer lights from HF on it to help conserve power. http://www.harborfreight.com/870-lb-capacity-40-inch-x-49-inch-heavy-duty-utility-trailer-with-8-inch-wheels-and-tires-42708.html
