Several download sites offer Free and Legal downloads of music so they say. Is there such a thing as legal and free music downloads? I know I know everybody is doing it.Not me at least not yet. I'm looking for a good source of music from 60's to current files of different variety.I need to load up a MP3.I'm just concerned about legalities.

Gene I picked a venture up at 10:00 pm at night by my self in the middle of that creek. Momamo was to wet and mad to help. I have a good record at keeping it upright most of the time. Ask her about the other times.:whistling::whistling:We catch creek chubs out of there for fishing bait.

I got to do something this year. I'm thinking about starting a split rail fence above the road bank. This will give me something to do on the weekends while camping.I will need about 300 ft when I'm done. Mamamo has other landscaping projects she can do over the next few years. Hopefully in a couple years we will have the old house torn down and can start on a post pillar foundation. Were going to build a rustic butt and pass style log cabin. I'm talking cut and debark the logs, rebar pinned together complete with tin roof. Ours will be a little bigger then this one a goldwing rider is building in Oklahoma. Check out there link. http://www.vernstreet.com/loghome.htm Here is a picture of the fence type. I may use locust post for this.

Anybody ever eat at one of the River City Cafe's at Myrtle Beach? Trip advisors rates it as number one of about 270 places to eat. Peanuts on the floor sounds like my kind of place. Going to check it out in August. http://www.rivercitycafe.com/

I use GM for auto and motorcycle insurance. They gave me more coverage for a cheaper rate over Nationwide. Nationwide lost my business after 30 years. Saved $600 in annual premiums without the long term discount.

Yea I know Bob. They canceled one of mine for inactivity. Zero balance and they canceled it. If you use it they raise your apr. It's a no win situation. Our Gm card has been good to us and so has American Express. I bought two new vehicles with the help of GM reward dollars on top of there best out the door deal.

Cruising through Richmond with friends beware. http://www.delmarvanow.com/graphics/ad_arrow.gif ADVERTISEMENT http://www.delmarvanow.com/graphics/ad_arrow.gif RICHMOND '08: It remains illegal to ride motorcycles side by side By Alex Bahr Capital News Service RICHMOND – Virginia will remain one of only two states in the nation where it is illegal for motorcyclists to ride side by side in a lane. House Bill 48 aimed to make it legal for motorcyclists to ride abreast in a single lane but was defeated in a 9-9 vote by the Transportation committee during a Tuesday committee meeting. http://www.delmarvanow.com/graphics/ad_arrow.gifADVERTISEMENT http://www.delmarvanow.com/graphics/ad_arrow.gif The vote came as a disappointment to Jim Cannon, director of the Virginia Coalition of Motorcyclists. “I was sitting there sick to my stomach,” Cannon said. “I don't know how with no data they can do that.” Vermont is the only other state where riding two abreast in a lane is illegal. The penalty in Vermont is a traffic infraction. In Virginia, it is a misdemeanor carrying harsh penalties. “I believe it’s a bit draconian to make it a penalty with an up to $2,500 fine and up to 12 months in jail for something that is legal in 48 other states,” Cannon said. “It defies logic to me.” Delegate Edward T. Scott, R-Culpeper, voted in favor of the bill. “I supported that measure last year and then again this year,” Scott said. “I think it’s reasonable, and the fact that there are 48 other states that allow it, it’s fair to allow Virginia motorcyclists to do the same thing.” Del. Joe T. May, R-Leesburg, a motorcyclist himself, supported the bill in Tuesday's meeting. “I really don't see any problem, although I don't usually choose to ride two abreast,” May said. “But in terms of the bill, it appears to me, based off my own personal experience, to be a safe and reasonable thing to do.” Those who opposed the bill cited safety concerns and unclear language as reasons for voting against the measure. “If a wreck were to occur, and two drivers were in the same lane, whose fault would it be?” said Delegate G. Glenn Oder, R-Newport News. “It’s the unanswered questions in the bill that create problems for the courts, for the insurance industry and for the safety of our drivers … We've had over a thousand deaths occur on the highways of Virginia this year, and I think this bill makes our highways even more unsafe.” Delegate Charles W. “Bill” Carrico, R-Independence, did not support the bill, citing a lack of evidence. “I've seen this bill several times, and it’s been brought up as an issue that … riding two abreast in a single lane is safer and gives them a wider view of the lane,” Carrico said. “But that’s the only thing they have ever said, and they have never shown any real evidence that it’s safer, and they've really never shown any evidence that it’s a better view.” Carrico takes issue with the theory that riding two abreast in a lane offers riders a wider field of vision than when riding behind another motorcycle. “If it obscures their vision so much to ride behind a motorcycle, how can they ride behind a car?” Carrico said. Some opponents of the legislation argue that since Virginia police often ride side by side when escorting processions and motorcades, motorcyclists also should be permitted to ride two abreast. “They're not constantly riding side by side all the time. It’s just a short period of time before they hit the next intersection,” Carrico said. “And they're conscious of the fact that it’s dangerous, and they've had a whole lot more training than most people that get on the highway with a motorcycle.”

I own my home so no danger of loosing it. What were banks thinking? Risky loans offering 103% total financing with variable rates to home buyers. Some only paid back the interest on the loans for a number of years. Your right businesses don't loose money just pass the cost on down the line. Consumers tighten up and slow spending. The stock market drops and we still pay.My investments are down by 25K now.

Sorry Squeeze I didn't realize you were in Germany. I'm talking about revolving charges on existing lines of credit. Let me give you an example. Last year when my daughter decided to go back to college she needed a car. I bought her a $4500 car using a unsecured line of credit. No collateral needed and a cheaper interest rate then a local bank wanted with collateral. Those lines of credit are harder to get now and existing lines (some but not all) are receiving rate increases.Rates usually jump to a very high default rate for late payments or other defaults on the agreement. Everything in this country is changing. Your credit score and reports are being reviewed by every business and some employers.Credit card banks can even raise your rates because you breeched a contract with someone else. I monitor my accounts almost daily and pay all bills early.
-
Squeeze this is a change of terms for credit card agreements. I can see a small change in interest rates as outlined in the agreement for variable rates. But a 17% increase just to keep the account open. Lending rates are dropping but existing card holders rates are going up. I have had two different banks change the terms on our accounts.
-
If your like me junk mail hits the trash. Most of it I never open. We always get credit card offers along with special checks for existing accounts etc. It's easy to over look something. Credit card banks are getting nervous.I guess the loses among the subprime lending crunch has rolled over into the credit card accounts. Good paying customers with good credit and no late fee's ever are being reclassified. One of my wifes accounts is going from 13% to 29.99% if she wants to keep the account open. An immediate letter before the april deadline stating she wishes to deny the increase is necessary to freeze the account and hold the current apr. Last month I had one of mine go from 7.9% to 19.99% for no reason. I gave there business to someone else for 7.9%. Why banks penalize good customers who never default on the terms is beyond me. It's not my fault they lost there A## somewhere else. Watch your accounts.

Most of what is around me is dealing weed and prescription med abuse. Beans trade hands for money and barter. You can actually buy groceries with beans in a few stores. Meth labs on the increase. Not much local bust except for the road checks. Law enforcement still trying to stop dealing out the back door of local businesses.Every house here has a home scanner and knows whats going on.Neighbors won't even give up local thieves for reward money. Got to protect family you know.
