I'm still waiting on a minor 1099 on gas royalties. Did anybody receive anything on last summers stimulus check. I'm sure we got to pay taxes on that to. So far nothing from the government about it.

Looks like the East may see another major snow,ice, rain event early next week. Something brewing in the gulf heading this way. This kind of thing brings back child hood memories. Wonder why I don't enjoy it as much. MamaMo's mom is flooded out and can't get home tonight. She is staying in a motel with Ramona. I guess it's a party tonight me and the dog.Mini you might get a noreaster yet.

I never did burn wood. We have had natural gas since 1971. I bought a small boxwood wood burner for the kitchen at the camp last year. It heated good up until the temp dropped below 40 outside. Now when I get this bad boy hooked up in the living room of the camp both should run me out. The old house use to have a wood/coal burner in the living room and a wood cook stove in the kitchen.I'm taking spring break to cut a load of firewood for camping and next winter.

Lowes just put there wood stoves on sale 50% off. I just bought a 1800 sq ft model for the camp. Now I can camp all year round.A man has to have a get a way dog house.Some day it will end up in a log cabin or a big first gen garage.We got 7 inches of snow yesterday,Ice last night, and a flood today. My yard is a mess,vehicles on the other side of the creek and were walking out of here.Now if I can get up that icy bank on the other side of my foot bridge. I got to get MamaMo at midnight from work.

Called tech support again for the 4th time since Friday. Dsl went out at midnight. They said you already have a trouble ticket for Monday repair. We havent fixed it yet. I said then why did it come back up and work for 8 hrs Sunday afternoon. I will call the Public Service Commission but for now I'm wearing tech support out.My snr (signal to noise ratio) never changes. That tells me my connections are good got to be a problem their not telling me about but the bill keeps coming every month.I'm back on dialup at 50.6K.

I guess I will wait. I was on a two year waiting list just to get dsl. I have had it for two years now and I guess they need to make some improvements. I got the max limit up to 3M download but I'm 12 miles from the CO so I only get 1.2M down and 364K upload. When it works no problem but It's going down hill fast for some reason.Phone and dsl package is only $105 a month. It's only money right?

I talked to a cellular tech that sad 3G EVDO was coming soon. I might just wait and see for now. I just got service back at 500K but did anybody notice that ICE storm coming?

I know it's not good for gaming so my son would be pi$$$$ but streaming video or normal surfing might be ok. I hope some of our members here may have experience with satellite internet and can report.I have 5 computers using my wifi connection so dial up is out.

Somebody tell me all the negative reasons why I should not dump my dsl and go satellite for my ISP. My only source of internet is Frontier dsl my phone provider. No other source exist other then satellite and dial up which I am on now.I have had nothing but problems with my dsl connections for 2 years and tech support is no help.When it runs good it downloads at 1200kb but slows down to a crawl 37kb yesterday. This happens at some point almost daily.Now I have a new problem it's totally dead,gone,out of service for the third weekend in a row.I had a long conversation with customer service and tech support yesterday morning. they offered a one time only $40 credit a months service fee but had no explanation for the failures.Every week when I call tech support I ask the same question. Is anybody else in the state of WV having a problem and the answer is NO nothing reported but my neighbors are complaining to.The phone company has retired all the people that knowed what they were doing and layed off the rest. Also no field service available on weekends M-F only. Just had to vent I'm on Ramona's labtop on dialup.My contract for dsl will be up in April for renewal.

Problem solved. Sell place and downsize to a nice cabin in the country. My property taxes on the house and 4 acres last year was $300. I got a gas well in the back yard with free gas. What is a heat bill?

About 75% of my client base mostly oil field related drive GM full size. I had my local Ford rep in my office last week crying over lost sales to GM.My company drives only Fords since 1970 and recently bought two GM models and are considering switching brands. My new 2005 Ford F150 has been towed three times for mechanical breakdowns on the highway. My personal truck is a 2004 Chevy ext cab with no problems other then a wheel bearing failure at 50K. The Toyota,Nissan are very good trucks but make sure your comfort is not compromised. I would rather lose 2mpg in fuel economy then 1 inch of comfort. My 2004 chevy gets 16.5 daily in the country and 18+ on the highway. The wifes 2005 Colorado is a reg cab 4x4 and runs like a scalded dog with that 5 cyl engine.It's to small for my likeing but fits her like a glove.I'm not much of a dodge fan probably because very few people I know have one.Most that do run the cummins diesel models.The important thing about owning a truck is that you are happy with it.

I bought one of the last 30K's they had. It's a duel fuel LP or NG model with thermostat and electric blower. The unit works fine without electricity though. I got a gas well in the back yard so it's set up for NG. I got it mounted up this evening just have to do a short plumbing job and I'm done.
