  1. After debating for some time, I finally traded my 2022 Tacoma TRD Off Road yesterday for a new 2024 TRD Off Road. I've liked them ever since they. came out but have resisted the urge due primarily because of the new motor. My. 22 had the old tried and true 6 cylinder and this one has the new turbo charged 4 cylinder. Just as much power and a bit more torque. Definitely smoother, quieter, and more responsive but only time can answer the questions of longevity and durability. My old one was loaded and this one is even more loaded. GIANT 14" screen, wireless Apple and Android CarPlay, moonroof, heated and cooled seats, about every safety feature imaginable. Now to hope it is problem free.

  2. Congratulations on your new Taco. I have a 21 OR and still love it. You should have no problems with the engine. It has been great so far, from what I've heard from other Taco owners.

  3. we have been seeing a lot of pictures and videos it is unbelievable and to recognize so many places that we have rode just destroyed like only mother nature can do. I hope they take this devastation and federal money and make it better than ever but only time will tell.

  4. Thank the Lord. It is a 'Temporary Tentative Deal'. I guess I will not be stacking up for now. That is now on hold. lol Now people are talking about the loss of economic business over the past 4 days, which is in the billions. At least we won't run out of bananas. Good Morning to all!

  5. Not on the front! The max psi on the front is 7 lbs! Get the hand pump and use that on the front and back. It's important to get the front the same on both sides.-Jack

  6. The National Parks Service says the Blue Ridge Parkway is closed indefinitely. I guess it suffered lots of damage from this storm. Sad to hear this during the peak of the Fall Season.

  7. I am truly heartbroken to see the videos and pics of the KOA campground our group has supported for many years. I’m glad we were able to ride thru Chimney Rock and Lake Lire areas, as it will never be the same.

  8. My daughter and her family and my ex-wife live a few miles south of Hendersonville, about 45 minutes from Asheville. They lost power which also cut off the water since both homes had their own wells. Otherwise they did okay with no damage. I'm recovering from Covid for the second time and could not go help out but my son in CA flew over and brought two generators and has been helping them. My son had to take some detours but was able to get to them. I read that it will be Spring next year before I26 north of Asheville will be opened and fall of next year before I40 will be open.

  9. With all the relief efforts concentrated along the hardest hit areas, I have a feeling it will be a long time until they open up the parkway. Hence like you said, indefinitely. Helene was truly a monster storm.

  11. I’m with ya Skid. This year was the 1st time Kandi could go with me to Asheville. I’ve been pointing out places we rode to her on the news footage. From Black Mountain, Biltmore Village, KOA, etc. I’m glad she got to go see it before this. Heartbreaking for those suffering over there.
