  1. Its hard to pick a favorite there is so many roads to ride. There are a few roads that I do like to make sure we ride each year. I know tomorrow we will be going for a couple of the long ridge roads, and there are some great views in the morning then on the way home hit the valley roads. You will have to come our way and we will take you out on a nice tour of the area. We have always gave a open invite to stop in and say hi and chat and it doesnt take any arm twisting to get us to go for a ride.

  2. Was out for ride last night and when pulling up to store front windows noticed left turn/marker light wasn't working. Turn signal did work so when I got home I tried to get bulb out but not enough strength in fingers to push up and turn bulb to get out! Going to get son to get it out for me. Went to dealer and there were 2 part numbers ( which I think it was for either clear or orange bulb)they had clear Yamaha bulb at $8.50 +taxcan but no orange. They had an aftermarket orange they said would work so I bought it for $4can+tax. Will change when he gets here! Probably don't need to change as passing lights would be enough to show width of bike but I like to have things working!

  3. Yeah...I'll take it. Mine's squeaking, so it may be a good idea to get a rebuilt shock ready for install so the bike won't be down while I wait for the rebuild. As I think about it, after it's rebuilt and installed on my bike, I can offer up my old one for the next VR member that wants to do the same thing. I'll PM ya.

  4. Concerned about long distance riding after the upcoming back surgery I decided to buy a trailer just in case. Decided I didn’t really like it so I sold it and built my own. You don’t see too many 10’ trailers with a dovetail and tandem axles but that’s what I wanted. Ramp gate folds flat on the dovetail out of the wind.
