Hi all, just checking in as it’s been a while. Got a new to me toy in the spring so the VR has gotten little miles this season 😕. Honestly I was going to get rid of the girl for a dresser more favorable to my short leg dilemma, but went a different route and decided to keep her. Looked at a Beautiful Roadmaster, just couldn’t come to terms on price with the seller. Ended up making the move to add some more Italian to the garage and picked up a MG California Vintage! Gotta say I absolutely love it 😍. Season was great until about a month ago during a Moto rally camping event I tripped over a tent line and broke my ankle in a vole hole 🩼🩼. So now I’m home recovering from surgery with loads of time on my hands to accomplish those winter projects and not the mobility to execute 😭. Anyway, hope y’all are having a great season, and with any luck I’ll still get in a few fall rides. here’s a few pics of my new toy

I’m back and better than ever Restoring the same model bike you guys helped me with, back in 2019. Some of the names I remember from back then, if my memory serves me correctly:Venturous Randy, Cowpuc, skydoc just to name a few. Anyway, current bike has not been started since 2009. It was stored in a shed so that’s good news! I did choose to go with a single carb this time. will keep you updated. I’m almost ready to fire her up

Very nice bike. Never ridden one but they are loved by many. Hope you heel up and get back on it soon.

It’s factory, it’s mounted in the vanity mirror. The wire runs under the trunk, goes to a 2 wire plug and then there is a single bullet connector by the big plug for the tail light and turn signals. It then runs through the main harness to the HAZARD fuse which is not in the main fuse box, but in the little box with the spade fuses for the radio etc. everything is working now, thanks!
