  1. Well got the repaired exhaust Y pipe back on and have gone on a couple rides with and without trailer and my repair seems to be a success!!!! Did a deep clean on bike as I was waiting for muffler cement to cure as it was very filthy from ride to Fort Erie Ontario(200klm one way!) with the road splash going everywhere!

  3. Start from cold and check the exhaust temps on all 4 cylinders right at the heads. Make sure they’re running close to each other. They run surprisingly strong on three cylinders. If you have a cold pipe start looking at the corresponding coil, plug wire, and the carbs again. These carbs can be finicky to get right sometimes but once they’re there keep good fuel in it and don’t let it set with ethanol in it. And yes they are a blast to ride and very comfortable bikes.

  4. Maybe check the compression just to make sure. These engines have been known to hydrolock.

  6. I'm finally going to be home long enough to actually ride some. So, I gave the old girl her annual bath. The plastics all look great, but the wind screen is starting to show the years. I'll likely have to replace it before next season.

  8. I traded my 2008 RSV in toward a 2023 Indian Challenger. I loved my Venture and wish Yamaha had properly updated it to keep me on board.
