  1. Well we picked up Eileen’s trike today. She had never ridden a trike and asked me to ride it home. It was about an hour away and mostly 75. - 80 MPH on the turnpike. Temperatures were in the mid to high 50’s so brisk but not cold. The bike rides nice. I was a bit concerned because Harley trikes all have solid rear axels. It wasn’t as smooth as the RSV trike but handled surprisingly well. It is a bit lighter trike than most and the M8 107 engine feels very strong. First time in years that road a bike without full upper fairing and lowers and it was very windy today. It has a big windshield but I still got a lot of wind. When we got it home, i got on my bike and with her on the trike, we went for a short ride. She loves it but was more than a bit nervous. It will take some time. Hopefully she will stick with it and get comfortable on it.

  2. Eileen has been on my back for several weeks about a trike for HER. She finally wore me down so we went shopping. I wasn't really against it but just worry that her health will keep her from riding but she turned an old argument that I have used a few times about my bucket list right around on me. So, Eileen is now the rider of a 2017 Harely Freewheeler,. M8 107 engine. Pretty stock except for some custom grips and the luggage rack. 13,000 miles.

  3. I think the units that can link up to 15 riders are the DMC ones. But if you don’t ride with a herd that all have helmet communication why buy more features than you need? The Packtalk Custom looks interesting in that you buy what you want and nothing else.

  4. T6 is what I used in my 2013 Goldwing, that was a manual shift not the CVT like the new 2018 and up Goldwings. In my 2013 it helped eliminate ghost shifting and made shifting smoother.

  5. I'm thinking it would work just fine. It's known to be a good oil.

  6. Ok time to change the oil again, I used Honda oil the last time but since there is not a dealer close by I was thinking about going with Rotella T6. I used it in my Venture I had and liked it, but I have not seen a lot of information about using it in a Goldwing. What do you guys think?

  8. Okay got a chance yesterday to get the new off of the Michelin Road Classic tire, Mike and Shirley came over and we enjoyed a 170 mile ride through some of Alabama's country side. I think I am going to like this tire we tried it out at all speeds and road conditions. Good friends and a good ride on a motorcycle equals a great day to be alive.

  9. I would think they would be if they are the right numbers and installed correctly.

  10. you get a lot more miles, most have a flatter contact patch on the road. reversing it put the carcus plies in the correct direction in order to make the tire stronger and not separate. When the tire is used on the rear most of forces on the tire are on acceleration and when it is on the front most of the forces come from braking.
