another n hopefully the last one needed. went in tuesday a week ago for triple bypass open hearty surgery. spent 4 1\2 hrs on the table n am home now recoop'n........ everything went according to plan doc said all looked good that i should go home n have a merry christmas. recoop'n at home now! wanna thankeveryone for all their thoughts n prayers! greatly ap[preciatated!!!!!!!! Hey guys! I've been working away and the Venture, just rebuilt the twinkie and about 3/4 of the way finished with the carb rebuild (get yourself a sonic cleaner, works wonders!). I'm about to start on replacing the fork seals. When I initially installed the progressive springs, I decided against using the PVC spacer that was included in the box. Now that I'm riding 2-up more frequently, i'd like to put them back in during the seal replacement. It's a 1" PVC spacer correct? What was the length that came with the progressive springs? Also, I'm going to replace the gaiters on this job as well. I know the diameter is 40mm, is 7.5 inch of travel going to be enough? I'm going to look around a little more for some how-tos on the seal installation tool, as I plan to do the seals with the forks on the bike. If I can't find them I'm going to edit the post and ask some questions about that as well. Always looking forward to the knowledge from you guys on here! Thanks!

May this Christmas season bring to your mind the real reason for this time of year. The celebration is about a birth, some 2000 years ago of a man child who was both God and man. He came to pay a debt we could not in any way pay ourselves, so that the offer of eternal paradise could be a reality. No where in history has a birthday celebration lasted for this long. Family, friends and the gathering are quite an important part of having a party, but lets not forget who the center should be. He is watching and waiting. May you all find the blessings that CHRISTmas has to give and may 2024 bring Him back,,, it;s time!

If you need to separate the lower tubes from the upper you will need a long tool to do that. This is what I ended using when I did mine way back when.
