  2. Politics aside, the numbers don't lie. Reminds me of a cute little story. The office OMB asked for bids to fix a hole in the White House fence and got two bids. One bid was from a contractor in West Virginia, the other was from Chicago. The West Virginia guy pulled out a pad of paper and a measuring tape, worked out the bid with materials and labor. OMB guy says "what you got ?" $7000, he says. $3000 for me, $3000 for my crew, and $1000 for materials. The Chicago guy paid no attention. The OMB guy says, "Well ? You didn't do any figuring that I could see. Do you have a bid ?" "Sure"', says the Chicago guy, " $27,000 . " How do you figure that ?" says the OMB guy. $10,000 for me, $10,000 for you, and we hire the guy from Virginia to fix the fence.

  3. More than very worried,,, be super worried. If guys like Elon Musk and Jordan Peterson are worried,,, so should the rest of humanity,,,, but we are too busy being nice to ourselves that we will just pass it off,,,,,, until it's too late. Don't ask me what the dangers are, but it won't be pretty!!!

  5. Interesting topic. I have been riding bikes for a long time. Big cruisers with 1600cc and even now I have a 1600 RoadStar. Then I got the Venture and dropped it in two consecutive days. Both at gas stations. I then realized that I have been trying to pull up to the gas stations and stop with the handle bars not straight and turned left. Both times it went left. Rookie mistakes in handling these bikes. I fought it the first time but let it down the second time. You can stop a cruiser with the handle bars turned a bit but not a big touring heavy bike now I know.

  6. I would never be bashful about wanting a rig to haul your pups or anything else you can fit onboard. My wife will no longer get on back of my GoldWing but she rides comfortably in the Champion Escort sidecar attached to my 03 Venture. We have a 16 lb Australian Terrier that tries to jump in the sidecar whenever the hood is raised. This combo is an extremely stable, comfortable and relaxing rig.
