  1. Its time to let one of my bikes go. I barely ride enough for one and I cant sell the one that my wife bought me. This bike was my favorite. It always ran well and just plain felt better than my 89. All of the plastic is in great condition. As you can see it has some great add ons. It hasnt been on the road in a few years. It has always been stored indoors. I went to ride it a few years back and I had no back brake. It was fine when I put it away on the fall. Lets start at $3000 and go from there.

  7. Did similar mod but only one side hang on unit. Was going to do this for long time but when visiting @Marcarl and @XV1100SE to oversee them changing Don's clutch slave unit I finally decided to buy the side tool box which fit into my tow behind trailer.

  8. Yesterday, I finally got the chance to replace plugs, final oil drive and coolant. They were all past due for service. Almost 8 years on the coolant, over 10K miles on the plugs. It was so refreshing today weather wise as well as working on my ‘07. Rear tires has been ordered. Took only 3 pics, because I was so into it. 🙏

  10. On Wednesday, thanks to the help (he did most of it) from Carl (Marcarl) and Phil (Sleepy2) we replaced the clutch slave and shifter shaft oil seal. Early Spring I was getting a drip of what seamed to be brake fluid under the bike. The old clutch slave appeared to be dry when we pulled it out though. The day we did the work, in the morning before I rode to Carl's I found the first drips of oil under the bike. There was oil seeping out from the oil seal. 105,000 km on the 2009 RSV Venture Big thank you to Carl and Phil for the help doing this !!!

  11. Hello VR fellows. I am being held hostage by the dreaded flu virus and am ready for this to get this over with. It started last Thursday after we got home from mowing my wife's property. It was hot and I felt bad that night, so I stayed in all day Friday. By Fri. afternoon I felt like a semi ran over me 3 times. No signs of infection, so I hung with NyQuill and DayQuill to help with the pain. Just going out in the driveway for about 10 minutes today has told me that I will be in for another or two. The bad news is, I have a Trike that has just had the carbs reinstalled, the oil hasn't been changed, or has the engine been run so they can be tuned out. Not to mention that I cannot go riding on the bike or even mow the yard. This being sick during good weather STINKS!!! OK, the Gripe Session is over, but I had to tell my story in the feeble hope of getting a little sympathy. 🤣 (Like that will happen with this bunch). Everyone have a great day riding. Steve
