  1. Loretta and I built the backyard living area about 4 years ago. Manufactured decking, sink with running water but a drywell ground drain and all cedar lumber. We just finished the cedar ceiling this year. Full electrical, Bose speakers and AM/FM/Bluetooth receiver.

  3. Naw, we will likely stay around here. I kind of like it here and my wife is from here. Winters get old but they aren't that bad and summers are great. No hurricanes and very few tornados. No flooding problems where I live. So.....not likely to move very far,.

  4. That is a nice house you've lived in for 25 years Don. Was great for maintenance day....camping, parking....pond monster. But....the time comes for all of us to reduce the maintenance we have to do on home and relocate. If you move before the next maintenance day....I can see Carl going in the direction of your "old" house and have to do at least one u-turn. Worst thing about selling/moving though....is the packing. After 25 years you accumulate a lot of things.....and you'll wish those things you kept because you might need them some day you'll regret not disposing of them sooner !

  5. Your home is very nice Don & Eileen! As many of us are getting older I too am ready to down size. However, the wife has me adding on 300 square feet. I only mow 4 acres, so not so bad, and we have out lived the horses dogs, cats, chickens ducks and Goofy the African goose. With raising Grandchildren we need the room, so I guess we will stay here, Later-

  6. One last thought before I head out of town again... Both the neutral switch and the shift shaft are down low on the left side of motor. Under the stator wires. All three of these areas can leak. The neutral switch had an orange O ring, the shift shaft has on O ring and the stator wires coming out of the case can leak around the seal. RTV is your friend in that case. The most important information is that most screws and bolts are not tightened down hard. Most are torqued to inch pounds... Not foot pounds. Overnighting will cause leaks. The valve cover gaskets will leak if tightened down like you would a car's. In fact, they will leak more if you try to tighten them even more. A good torque wrench really is important on these bikes. Other than this... They are very dependable scoots. I think the link I sent you earlier about my oil leak also shows pictures of the neutral switch and stator wires. If not, do a Search on posts with my name on them.
