Personally I love the 1st gens and unless i have no other choice I am more than happy to remain a true venture rider in the old sense. But as we all know this group is so much more than just the bikes we ride and I love that about Venture riders. So lets bring it in

The few things that I ordered are here now. Today I will take the fairing apart to install the bluetooth receiver, phone mount with wireless charger, LED headlamp bulb, and install the Baron's risers. That's about all I can do for now. I've found that all the aftermarket chrome is almost impossible to get and those that have it are asking double what it cost new. I don't need anything that badly. Half heartedly looked for chrome air cleaner covers and a couple of other things but absolutely will no pay the price that one person was asking. Also would like to have the front fender rail and the stainless front air deflectors but no luck. Oh well, I'm fine the way it is. I've never been a fan of the pillow tip seats. I have a used Corbin coming. It will likely be ok, if not, I may send this pillow top to Rick Butler over the winter to see what he can do with modifying it.

I’ve seen that bike somewhere.

Drove in to work this morning, when I took off it was 60°F which is cooler than it has been so far when I have been riding. No light on at all so thinking it is fixed but we will see. Thanks for the input and have a good rest of the week!

Maybe this is to much notice but I am tentatively setting the "Pork in the Pines 2023" for August 25-26-27th, 2023. Save that date in your phones calendar and make no other plans for that time and we will go from there. BTW: In the past we have had more of them there Canadians at this than any other group. I am hoping that the Canadians from BC will come and make a vacation out of it. Yes Rick and Marylin, Laura and Gord, I mean YOU !!!!!! Updates as I know them Steve aka Bubber 👍

Looks good Skid. lifes not too bad in jail here , i"ve benn rideing a 98 hd low rider for the last couple years now. Life is good!
