  1. First of all, when I came back to this group after having straying away on a Wing for a while, I was welcomed back with open arms and saw many of the faces and names that I knew from my earlier times in the group. But now I have to give a shout out to one member.......XV1100SE - Don Tohivsky. I will quickly admit that when it comes to working on the bike, I am challenged when it comes to the electrical stuff. I knew Don from back when and when I mentioned that I could use some help getting my GPS and Satellite radio mounted and wired into my new-to-me 09 RSV , Don was quick to offer his help. This week he came to my place 3 nights to get the job done. I need to clarify....he didnt help....he did the work and I was just standing around looking stupid.....which I excel at by the way. Not only does he know what he's doing, he does excellent work, does it right and doesn't cut corners. It is this kind of friendly help that many members of this group offer up all the time. My hat goes off to Don and fellow members for family that we have here. Looking forward to seeing some old friends and making some new friends in Ashville in August. Ride safe everyone. Rooster

  2. I will NOT be buying one. To be honest, I should sell my 2008 Ultra Classic because I've found over the past couple of years that I'm just not riding as I once did. My Ultra Classic only has about 13,000 miles on it and is basically like new. 10 to 15 years ago though, I would be at the Indian dealership taking ownership of this new bike. I realize that it's not for everybody but I have always preferred the Road Glide over the Ultra Classic and would love to give this new Indian Pursuit a try. I bought the Ultra Classic simply because I got a fantastic deal and knew that I wasn't riding much. Expensive at almost $34,000 for the loaded model but from what I can see, I'm a fan. Rated at 120 HP and loaded with all the goodies. What do all of you think about it?

  8. I ride almost 800 miles to the WNY rally, 550 to Freebird’s, and trying to fit Vogel in my schedule at 350 miles. I don’t know how many can/will travel this far. If we can get the turnout it can be anything from an MD type thing at my place to a rally. Lots of good riding here for short rides or long, we can plan a tour of the Hannigan factory, or just sit around and eat and tell stories (assuming the border is open). TN highway 232 (West TN Dragon) is 30 minutes away. Ky lake is well known for bass and crappie fishing, 20-30lb catfish caught regularly with occasional up to 80 lb. May/June cats are biting from the bank. Civil war fort and history nearby.
