  4. Running only on choke usually means carb cleaning or rebuild. Dying in gear, was your sidestand down? Check sidestand switch. If it tries to Lurch forward when put in gear check clutch fluid level/bleed clutch.

  6. Finally finished🤞 After receiving the replacement module and installing per the directions the same thing happened. I did a little more testing on my end figuring I’ll just make my own module if needed I discovered mating black to red from the module to the grips provided the correct wiring. (The new module also puts out almost double the voltage which is something the engineer mentioned when I spoke with him last week. Something about an updated one which I suppose addresses the lack of heat issue I mentioned in my initial post.). Test ride yet to come, but in the garage they feel nice.

  7. Reiny I do have a couple brackets that have been started but need finishing Polishing mostly. If Don has one to offer you fine if not send me a message. Squidley I do offer some of my products but don't advertise then so only build what is asked for. Being the 2nd gens are no longer made by Mom Yamaha demand is quite low so it don't make sense to tie up material and storage space.

  8. I've also had success with getting a big horse syringe, a clear tube and force fluid from the bleeder up.into the master cylinder (which will need to be empty). Make sure to have all your painted surfaces covered incase on any spillage.

  9. They should fit, I don't believe HD changed much on their big bike mufflers in the last 15 years. I have a set of slash cuts from a 2005 Road King on my RSV. You'll have to get a special clamp that will adapt from the metric pipes to a HD muffler. I know their is some posts about it on the site, You'll just have to do some searching.

  10. If it is a first gen, I have had great luck tieing the clutch lever with a rope, and letting it sit overnight. Seems the air works up to the top. Maybe one squeeze and loosen the banjo bolt at the top.
