  1. Only thing I noticed when I pulled apart is the cheap rubber parts that I got with the cheap rebuilt set I bought. I did real poor job at bench syncing and couldnt even get 1 cylinder to show up on gauge, I played for about 40 minutes and got it all dialed in. Thanks to another discussion that someone else had brought up in the threads on this site, so thankful for this site and everyone associated with it. I've learned so much and finally should be able to ride the bike safely. Hoping this season is nice and will look into valves and valve covers this winter, hopefully the cleaners and soak was enough to help increase compression for now

  2. Brewing an Imperial Milk Stout. First batch at the new abode. It has been far from smooth as we are still unboxing stuff and I could not find a couple key pieces of equipment. Fortunately, we are about 4 blocks from a very nice home brew supply house. Make Beer, Not War!

  3. Yesterday I had a stairlift service call in Toledo, OH. So I left here about 8:00 in the morning and headed that way. I got about 19 miles from Toledo, on the 80 Turnpike, and I heard what sounded like a tire going bad. Wasn't anything to do except slow down and keep going but a couple of miles later, my left rear tire blew out; So, I knew it would be a pain but I got ready to change the tire. This is a 2017 Dodge Caravan that I bought slightly used a couple of years ago for the business. I've owned about 5 or 6 of these over the years and knew the routine. Pull the pad out of the center console crank down the tire, crawl under the van pull it out and etc. Nope, turns out that this 2017 model did not come with a spare. Only a jack and an inflator kit. Never knew; Inflator kis is useless with a blown out tire. So I called AAA and they had to load me on a flat bed and take me to a tire shop. I have basic AAA and the tire shop was further than the plan allowed so I ended up paying $149.00 out of pocket for the tow. Got 4 new tires installed and got to my service call. So, guess what? I HATE this trend where you do not get a spare tire with a vehicle, More and more manufactures are doing it. I've heard the reason is to save weight and therefore improve fuel economy. What a joke. You can bet that I'll be looking for a donut spare to put in the back. Those things are expensive new. I'll try to find a used one somewhere.

  4. Milk stouts have a lactose/lactic acid adjunct. Some chocolate stouts have a chocolate flavor added. Some just get a chocolaty flavor from the grain bill.

  8. Just to update, I looked at the motorcycle and it was amazing. I paid the man his money, him and his wife were great he had lots of stories. He was about 80, could barely walk or see, he was in remission, yet he was all smiles. I got the bike towed home which was hard with flat tires and after finally getting it on the main stand at my house I'm ready to work on it once this heatwave passes. First order of business is to get new tires so I can at least roll it around and park it in the shade

  12. Last time I saw Bob my wife and I went to Niagara then met at his house to ride down to Don’s MD. I helped load an air conditioner coil and a few other things in his car to deliver to members from Canada. That was the last MD he made it to.
