  1. Some people like the automatic membership renewals and some don't. There wasn't an option to turn off automatic renewals previously but there is now. When you purchase a subscription, the default is for it to automatically renew after a year but now there is a box that you can uncheck to turn off automatic renewal. I wish I could make OFF the default but haven't figured that one out yet. I'm working on it though.

  2. Your are correct . though the wire threads into the plug boot it only pushes straight in to the coil and then held in place with the rubber grommet and nut. I also mentioned earlier about inspecting the removable parts of the plug boot. here is a pic of all pulled apart.

  3. It's locked in with that plastic nut, there's an oring in there that acts like a compression fitting when the nut is tightened if memory serves me right.

  5. The green plug appears to have been something for the California models. None of the 1st gens I've ever owned have been hooked to anything.

  6. All wires tested for ground were fine... with ignition ON Red/white wire to CDI shows 12.5vdc. Question.... the plug wires screw into the boot.....the other end on the coil....is that screwed in as well or just pushed in and lock with the plastic nut?

  8. Well Ya, that would suggest a hair transplant footed by the club.... Silly The coils will take a bit of work to get to. I don't think the problem is the carbs but they can always use a cleaning

  9. I solved the problem. I had to take the inner fairing loose and lean it forward to get the cassette back in place. Not an easy job and I don't recommend it.
