Yesterday I set out to lower the front end 1/2". About 5 hours later....after a break for lunch and looking in vain for the a nut that dropped into an abyss and finally making a trip to the autoparts store for a replacement...success! I'm ~5'9", and based on various posts I read, 1/2" drop seemed like the right amount and I didn't want a dramatic change. For flat footing @ a stop, I probably could have gone a hair lower but gotta say overall I couldn't be happier after a short test ride. I didn't expect to feel much difference, but it is noticeable, even w/ just a 1/2" drop. Moving the bike around by my own power is much easier too as I now have more leverage. I had previously installed Rox 2" risers so I need to spend a little time fining the right spot for my bars after the change.

Pick up coil that is next to the stator If bike is not getting spark I would bet on that. Not sure how to test but it is the 2 wires coming out of stator case. Not the three white wires from stator but 2 smaller wires

You guys have been a real blessing to me esp lately. Keep up the good work guys ive really enjoyed reading the various posts and theres no end to how creative you guys are with the different projects. I like this site way more then any other ive been part of over the years and its thanks to guys like you.

The electronic side of this is my weakest part. In my head (scary place to be) the switch controls power to the coils and the TCI controls the ground. If that’s correct and you have power to the coils it would point to the TCI and/or the connectors to it. Hopefully somebody with more knowledge will step in here.

As a relative newcomer here, and someone who is new to working on motorcycles, the way I was not only accepted but encouraged and taught is unheard of on the internet, in my experience. I quickly learned to shun social media and do not regularly share my life experiences online other than through communications to friends and family - which grew immensely upon joining this group. Last years lakeshore flooding created the PERFECT opportunity for off trail adVenture... While I did take the loving husband approach to walking Tips E-Bike over the cave ins she did do an amazing job riding the single track off trail dirt path thru the weeds that we followed to get around over 2 miles of unrideable bike trail on this adventure.. SOOOO MUCH FUN!! GET OUT AND RIDE!!
