So I finally closed up the website part of my biz. One of my regrets was loosing my email address, and the webhost offered to maintain it for a small monthly fee to which I agreed. One of the things I did loose was my condor@cast-aways.com address.. Thought I still had it but I guess not because I wasn't getting any notices for VR's. So I figured I'd just go in and change the e-mail to my world wide... Looked simple enough and changed it in my accounts area. Then it asks me to enter my password. Hell it's been so long since I've had to enter it I forgot what it was?? So figured I might as well update the pass word as well.. So I go ahead and enter a new password... I think it'll send me a key code to my updated address, but no it changes my e-mail back to Condor?? Why can't things be simple???2 points

Hi all, Being a lucky dog, I got in the mail the Sena Bluetooth communicator with the built in video/still camera. It is now a permanent fixture on my everyday helmet. No more one handed photos using my $700 iPhone ! @cowpuc has a lifelong photographer on the back but not all of us have a dedicated pillion like "Tip". This Sena unit is all it is cracked up to be! I hope you enjoy the read. Comments are always welcome https://ultimatemotorcycling.com/2021/03/26/sena-10c-evo-review-motorcycle-bluetooth-intercom-camera-combo/ VentureFar...1 point

WOWZY WOW WOW WOW IS THAT ONE HECK OF PURDY SHOOTER ROLLER!!!! You done been blessed!! Wish you were closer cause you and your new GORGEOUS O/U could go out and bust some clays with Tip and I!! @slowrollwv,,, check these out!! 2 days ago, on another site I hang out at,, these little darlings came up in the "freebie" section!! A lop eared varmint over in GR (40 minutes away) had them and purchased a 22 so found he never used them.. The one I am holding is a Ruger air rifle,,, wood stock (though no where NEAR as gorgeous as the wood on your O/U) with scope (junk). The Ruger is a 1100 fps break barrel.. The other one is a Daisy Powerline 880. It appears as though the Ruger has been shot a little, VERY LITTLE, but I seriously dont think the Daisy ever has. Tip and I jumped up and RAN after these two little bb guns like a couple of kids LOL..1 point

When you pull it apart don't be surprised if you find it already has progressives installed by a previous owner. I pulled both my 89s apart and found both had progressives in them already. They are identifiable by the longer overall length and the closer spacing of the coils at one end. When installing progressives I always install the tight group to the top so as to not increase the live weight to the lower half of the forks.1 point

Don't know about the burger anymore, @saddlebum, @sleepy2, @xv1100se and others have been around here. They looked kind of hungry and in need of nourishment so it was time to look for some fodder for those poor underfed beings. Did find some burgers but the boys didn't eat them, don't know what happened, so give me lots of notice before you sneak over border so I can have some well aged ready for you.1 point

If you didn't get it yet, let me know what you want the new email address to are and I'll change it for you.1 point

Hey David, In an effort to answer your original question, It is NOT just your bike, and it is done to keep the forks from bottoming out due to the lack of air pressure and your 32 year old fork springs. The stock springs were not designed to run with zero air pressure, so the computer won't let you run zero air pressure. You will need to crack a connector to bleed the fork system of all air pressure, and it is suggested that you do so. I hope this helps, Earl1 point

Gee Scott, I am very glad that you can through this unscaved! Your ingenuity in a crisis situation was commendable. I am with Cowpuc on how important it is to change your valve stem EVERY time you mount your new tire! Because I work on more bikes than many, I have seen valve stem failure more than most. I fully understand that it is an extra expense, and in the case of a tire mounted at home, might be some added work, BUT I can not stress enough how important it is to replace that valve stem when you change that tire, EVERY TIME! Scott, you are a very lucky person, no doubt in part to your expert handling of your bike at a crucial moment in time. My hats off to you brother, I am not sure I would have been able to get my bike to the side of the road safely! Lets hope that this is as exciting as it gets for you for the rest of the riding season. Ride Safe seems like a forgone conclusion, but ride safe none the less! Earl and Jean.1 point

Pops, WOW! Glad to hear you and Nana are OK after the blind idiot murphied you. I've still got the '83. I know the logistics are tough, but I'll put a little time in this today and get the plugs changed. I just returned from Manhattan KS, through MO yesterday. I doubt I could have squeezed The Beast onto my service van, but it might have been fun to try😁.1 point

Achh, just take out the screw and the oil will come, it'll be in a hurry so get ready to catch it. Be done with that in the matter of seconds rather than hours. When one side is done, put the screw back in, add a little air and do the other side. Ice cream bucket does the trick.1 point

If once you drain the air down as far as possible using the manual setting on the class control panel and if there is still air left in it you can slowly loosen the air line either at the forks or at the compressor unit at the rear of the bike to finish bleeding off any air that may be left in the system.1 point

If you can post photos of the connectors, front, back and sides (must be good sharp and in focus) I can see if I can find the connectors and try to help out.1 point

Hi Dave, Just like Cowpuc said, but dont try to drain the forks till all the air is out of them. You will have a mess on your hands. I installed progressive in mine a while ago and didnt put a lot of preload in them so I run about 7 lbs of air just to keep the oil pressurized a bit. I get a nice comfortable ride that way. I also unhooked my electronic fork dampeners as they really arent needed with the progressives. I just unplugged them under the dash was all, and left them attached to the forks. Rick F.1 point

Hi Vaz!! How are you folks? Hope all is well out there! You find my baby rattler yet? LOL On your bike,, here is what I would do.. I would run the air down as far as possible. Pop the caps and go to town. I would also absolutely drop a set of Progressives in those forks after doing your seals. I would also stick in new fork bushings while I had it down. I have found that with Progressives front fork air is a thing of the past. I would dead head the airline going up front BUT, you dont have to do that if you dont feel the need.. To me, less going on = less potential for issues.. Leaving it hooked up and running 7 pounds on the progressives wont hurt anything but may make it ride a little stiff depending on how much preload you put on the Progressives.. IMHO, and that is all it is, running sacked out ink pen springs in the forks and using air to take up the slack so to speak is the #1 cause of seal failure as the air is actually putting more pressure on the seals than the bike was designed for. Hope this helps until one of the guru's shows up to set us both straight Hi to Pat! Love you both!! Puc1 point

Nope, the box stays. Got my coffee making gear in there. I will adopt your verbiage and combine with SkyDoc’s description. The box will now and forever be known as the “Bootlegger Locker”! Thanks WB1 point
