Mp3 player

Has anyone tried to hook up a Mp3 player to the existing radio on a first gen. I have a 92 model. Seems it may be a good replacement for the AWSOME casset player! ....Dave

Yup!! Buy a cassette adapter from Wally World, Radio Crap, or even your local Drug Store and plug in your MP3 and enjoy commercial free music you want to hear!!

If your cassette player doesn't work at all, you can remove it and connect an 3.5mm port into the system with a switch to turn it on & off.

I'll stick with my cassette adapter for now as that thing in the middle of that diagram makes no sense to me or even what it is.

"Mother" Made up a connector which all you had to do was unplug the Cassette and plug in the adapter, which plugged into the MP3 or GPS.

 

He had a drawing at one time, you may want to PM him.
