Really sharp bike. I was looking at one long and hard on Saturday. Very seriously thinking about trading in one of my other bikes (not the RSV) for a new 1200RT as a lighter weight commuter. How do you like yours? What options did you get?

I went with everything other than the stereo & CD player, traction control system, and automatic stability control. Everything else is there:

Chrome exhaust, clear signals (they were in the package), onboard computer, ABS, heated grips, dual heated seats, cruise control, electronic windshield (standard), electronic suspension assist (love it), and the optional 47litre top box.

I have not kept up with the new bikes the last few years but not in my wildest dreams would I have thought that was a BMW if I were riding by and did not see a name tag....

Been able to put it thru the paces yet? Looks like a real sporty touring bike.Fun with all the comforts:cool17: Any trip reports?

Very nice bike. If that's the one you rode back from Indy on, you should have gotten the windshield wiper option as well. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Yep, that's the one. The rain was actually the least of my worries. It was the wind that made it a miserable trip. I'll take rain any day over that.

That is a beautiful bike. If you find your seat is not up to your comfort expectations, my riding buddy put a Sargent seat on his and found it to be wonderful.

Enjoy the finest of German engineering.
