Venture seat on a RSTD?

Can the Venture's seat be used on the newer RSTD's?

You would have to modify it as it uses a different mount system. I have a friend that did it but has since sold his RSTD. I dont know how he did it but I can ask if you get that far and cant figure it out. Tom

All you need to do is make an L bracket that will mount to the RSV seat and then bolt it to the RSTD frame. Not really any pictures even needed on this one, it's so simple.

Thanks, I don't have either bike at the moment but had a 99 Venture in the past. It had the best seat of any bikes I've owned so if I were to get a RSTD in the future I'd like to be able to use a Venture seat.
