clav_guy Posted May 25, 2007 #1 Posted May 25, 2007 Hi Can anyone tell me how to remove the front (driver's) seat from a 2006 RSV???? Thanks in advance SpEEd Safely CG
hig4s Posted May 25, 2007 #2 Posted May 25, 2007 There are two long hex nuts under the front of the seat.. Left side is very close to the chrome on the top of the cylinder so you can't use a socket on that side, need an open end wrench.. 10mm I think. Once you have the nuts off, lift up, slide forward a couple inches and lift off. Getting the tab on the back of the seat to slide back into its spot when reinstalling can be a pain.

sarges46 Posted May 25, 2007 #4 Posted May 25, 2007 And if you drop one of those nuts they go right to the middle of the engine and are lost forever! I am now riding with no.....er......nuts holding my seat and that is no problem! Now get the laughing done with folks!
