Jethroish Posted September 3, 2008 #1 Posted September 3, 2008 I know you are all thinking that I am going to warn of hitting your leg on the exhaust. Although a concern and painful when done, that is not my warning here. As we all know, there are LOTS of bugs out there. There is an odd chance that one of those bugs just may be a bee. And there is an odd chance that that bee just might end up in the leg of your shorts. That makes bees angry. You don't want an angry bee in the nether regions of your short.
Guest Ken8143 Posted September 3, 2008 #2 Posted September 3, 2008 Just how did you come to that conclusion?
Leadwolf56 Posted September 3, 2008 #3 Posted September 3, 2008 Hmmm, and just how do you know this? :think:You should know better than to ride in shorts anyway. :buttkick:Anyway, I hope the bee sting doesn't last too long. Sounds like a learning experience to me. PS - maybe if you wore speedos the bee couldn't get in, could it? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
BradT Posted September 3, 2008 #4 Posted September 3, 2008 PS - maybe if you wore speedos the bee couldn't get in, could it? Hope your not promoting Speedo's for Venture Riders Brad

This was back in the 80's. Bee flew up my shorts and stung me on the inside of my leg.......Thank God!!!!
Dano Posted September 3, 2008 #6 Posted September 3, 2008 Hope your not promoting Speedo's for Venture Riders Brad No, No, No!!!!!!! Not another Squidley in a Speedo thread again!!!!! Please, please help us all before it's too late!!!!! Skinny Squidley
GigaWhiskey Posted September 3, 2008 #7 Posted September 3, 2008 There should also be a warning to those that have to see some people in shorts, lol.
Schlepporello Posted September 3, 2008 #8 Posted September 3, 2008 Aren't people who wish to wear speedos required by law to go through an application process?
James Ardrey Posted September 3, 2008 #9 Posted September 3, 2008 I alway wear my speedo while riding. The only requirement is that they be black leather in keeping with the macho biker image. I also have a venture rider patch and website address on the right cheek to promote our site. If they inquire I give them Freebirds(Don's) phone # and address and talk about what a wonderful guy he is and the people on this site.:rotf:I also let them know that most if not all venture riders wear speedo's and are issued as a free gift at purchase of a new RSV sponsored by Yamaha.:cool10:You don't have to thank me now!
Eugene Posted September 3, 2008 #10 Posted September 3, 2008 Isn't there also a metal-type thong available? I thought I read about it somewhere??? Mini - where are you????
SaltyDawg Posted September 3, 2008 #11 Posted September 3, 2008 getting back to the bee thing..Mini has a picture of me with yellow bee powder on my face where it hit me with my shield up. And I believe the old harley guy has a vivid memory of me fishing down my shirt at a stop light for said bee, which was released with a slight concussion. Brandy
