Well we sruvived the storm. Had to work at Bogalusa PD the last two days and the internet went out yesterday and just came back on. We were with out power yesterday morning until just a little while ago and the phones have not been working right. No major damage here just mainly small limbs all over. Had some tornados around and it was kind of rough last nite.

Thanks to jrichard and trich for calling and checking on us.

So good to hear that! It must be brutal watching the weather reports, not knowing what is going to happen.

Now, we are anticipating Hurricane Hanna, and who knows where she will end up. Hopefully, it will only be a good rain for all who need it.

Be aware all!

Glad you guys made it through it okay, you were just far enuff away to stay away from the really nasty stuff, but my son in Albany was all boarded up and hunkered down, talked to him yesterday while it was going on, but cant get to him today, keep getting no service and circuits busy messages, Charlene did get one call from him but the connection was really bad and dropped after about 15 seconds. All of Charlenes family evacuted to Miss. and we have had contact with all but 1 sister, but the others have heard from them. New Orleans dodged the bullet this time, thank God. Hope all our other members came through it unscathed. You S. Louisiana members and Mississippi members need to check in so we know you guys are ok.

Glad to hear everyone is OK.

Good thing this storm was not as bad as some before it.

As you know, my son is in Gulfport and he told me the wind has done the most damage.

Again, happy to know you & family are fine.

I thought we were in the clear, hasn't rained all day until late this evening and now we are in one tornado watch after another. Several have already touched down and watching a warning aproaching us now. We are now in an outer feeder band streaming up south to north from Lake Ponchatrain.

Ken,

Sure hope you and the family make it safe thru all the tornados and storms coming your way.
