spingley Posted September 1, 2008 #1 Posted September 1, 2008 I have a 99 RSV that has 57K miles, it runs great but the bike is almost 10 years old and I am thinking it is about time to replace all of the coolant hoses and maybe bearings, etc. I was wondering where everyone orders their stock parts from. My last bike was a VTX and there was a website 'HDL.com' that everyone recommended. Also can anyone think of anything else that they would recommend be replaced on a bike with fairly high miles?
robbitybob Posted September 1, 2008 #2 Posted September 1, 2008 I just ordered an ignition switch from Zannoti's. https://www.zanottimotor.com/shopping/partLookUp.html They were by far the cheapest and it came in a reasonable amount of time.
GeorgeS Posted September 1, 2008 #3 Posted September 1, 2008 You can order parts from most any yamaha dealer " On Line "
M61A1MECH Posted September 1, 2008 #4 Posted September 1, 2008 Try South Seattle Sports Plaza at this website http://www.yamahasportsplaza.com/ they sell part sand accessories at very good prices.

Rick Butler Posted September 2, 2008 #6 Posted September 2, 2008 Well guys, In all my research the best prices I've seen has been from MR Cycles out of Ashville, NC http://www.mrcycles.com/ And Flatout Motorcycles out of Indiana http://www.flatoutmotorcycles.com/ I just did a comparison on the ignition switch and found: Star Yamaha $122.09 MR Cycles 110.39 Flatout 104.00 Zanotti 107.88 Where it looks like Zanotti also has some pretty decent prices. Now all of these are without shipping which may change things some. Hope this helps, Rick

1BigDog Posted September 24, 2008 #8 Posted September 24, 2008 I ordered a part on Monday from Flatout and was a little concerned that it wouldnt make it here by this weekend as I start my vacation. I called Flatout today and spoke to Chris. Let me tell you something....It was a pleasure speaking to someone at a dealer who actually expressed a genuine concern with my problem. He promised to get it out overnite once it arrives from Yamaha, at the regular shipping price no less. Talk about bending over backwards to help out!! Lets see......great prices and exceptional service.....no brainer where im getting any future parts from. Plus hes a member here too!! http://www.flatoutmotorcycles.com

midnightventure Posted October 2, 2008 #10 Posted October 2, 2008 I have been using http://www.boats.net lately. Its a marina in Fl. that handles Yamaha boats and will sell motorcycle parts reasonable. They have to order them usually but since they don't have to stock them the prices are pretty good. I've ordered twice and it's taken about two weeks both times. Things I didn't need fast.

Eddie Fulmer Posted October 2, 2008 #12 Posted October 2, 2008 Use Rick at buckeye performance. He owns a venture and can really help you out. I've ordered a bunch of parts from him. Go to the web site and then give him a call. Or you can email him a list and he'll get you a price. I like doing business with him. I believe he's a 1 man operation with great customer service.
