curt99rsv Posted September 1, 2008 #1 Posted September 1, 2008 I have a friend looking for a CDI box for an 87' Venture. I found one for a 1200 on Ebay, and several parts on the classifieds here but he isn't sure or not if it will work. Anyone have an old one laying around to sell or know if the 1200 one will work? I'm not too familiar with the 1st Gens. Thanks, Curt
Squidley Posted September 1, 2008 #2 Posted September 1, 2008 I'm not 100% positive, but I believe that the '83/'84 might be a bit different than the later years. I know there will be some 1st genners offer up a bit more positive responce.
rhncue Posted September 1, 2008 #4 Posted September 1, 2008 83 is different. 84 through 89 are the same. They made slight changes through out the years to improve so the newer the better. 90 on were completely different. Dick
