Guest Ken8143 Posted August 31, 2008 #1 Posted August 31, 2008 Well, I finally installed my edset, and it went ok. But - it seems like I have to crank up the volume way up to get a bit of sound out of them. She who must be obeyed says when I intercom her it comes through nicely for her J&Ks - she has to turn her volume control down and I have to crank mine way up to hear her. Any idea about what gives here?
kbran Posted September 1, 2008 #2 Posted September 1, 2008 I had to turn my volume down with those speakers, but I did notice that if they are not directly centered on your ear it makes a big difference. You may need to readjust were the speakers are in relation to your ear.
eagleeye Posted September 1, 2008 #3 Posted September 1, 2008 Edset speakers are awesome, maybe you should look at your helmet and see how you could improve the earphone setup. Steve
Bob Myers Posted September 1, 2008 #4 Posted September 1, 2008 check headset volume control on handlebar, mine was flaky from not being used, several turns up and down cleaned the wiper and it works good now. Mine was low enough that the volume needed to be cranked to the point of distortion
