Guest Ken8143 Posted August 26, 2008 #1 Posted August 26, 2008 Is a publication, like a book, or mag, or something like that that gives ideas for 1-day bike trips for PA or for other areas? Right now I can't break away for longer rides, but want to take a series of day rides from the house. I know how to look at a map - just wondering if someone has put together different routes for different areas.

Guest BluesLover Posted August 26, 2008 #5 Posted August 26, 2008 Besides the ones already pointed out there is also: http://www.motorthruthemountains.com and I also personally like the Moto-Maps series - they come with 7 or 8 one day trips on backroads. Cheers,
cecdoo Posted August 27, 2008 #6 Posted August 27, 2008 Ken you have alot of options from your area, Wellsboro, Jim Thorpe, Laurel Highlands, Raystown Lake, WV,Hawk Mtn. take a compass and draw a circle from your starting point out 200 miles, lots to see and do. Good Luck, Craig
halfwitt Posted August 27, 2008 #7 Posted August 27, 2008 And there is this site: http://www.sundaymorningrides.com/ If your GPS is capable (mine isn't) you can even upload the rides. Don't forget to tell us Pennsylvanians where you're going and if you want company!
