only 2500 '09 VMax's to be made

Stopped at a local dealer today and was asking about the new Max. Salesman said only 2500 will be made, and if you want one it has to be ordered with a deposit. Said there will be none sitting on the showroom floor.

Aslo, they, this dealer, are putting a fairing and hard bags on the new Road Stars. Said they are the only ones doing that that they know of. Sure gives it a different look. Bags don't look like they will hold much, kinda narrow. Fairing kinda looks like a Harley bat-wing type, except the light is real low in the fairing.

BTW, wife and I actually rode about 30 miles yesterday!!!!

Here they have been adding bags and fairing to any of the star models, I think Arlen Ness designed. Nice looks but as you say small in the storage dept. Alba Motors had one on the floor last time I was there. Rod
