Condor Posted August 23, 2008 #3 Posted August 23, 2008 The trike is for sale on Ebay. Here's a LINK with all the info.
Dano Posted August 23, 2008 #5 Posted August 23, 2008 They put a slow VDub in the rear? Why would you slow down? Appreciate the engineering, but I would have left the V4 in there.
Squidley Posted August 23, 2008 #6 Posted August 23, 2008 You'll notice that it doesn't have any bids on it either, what a waste to put a VW in it and take out the V4. I honestly dont like the looks of it either, to eaches own
Guest tessa c2 Posted August 23, 2008 #8 Posted August 23, 2008 yup thought of doing that with the old XS1100, but this guy in the back of your mind..... keeps on slapping me,,,,,,, and saying remember the wrecks with the honda 3 wheelers when they first came out:Laugh:
Ozark Posted August 23, 2008 #9 Posted August 23, 2008 Some need three wheels but as some have said, "why the VW?"
Condor Posted August 23, 2008 #10 Posted August 23, 2008 (edited) You'll notice that it doesn't have any bids on it either, what a waste to put a VW in it and take out the V4. I honestly dont like the looks of it either, to eaches own With the starting bid at $8,000 I bet he doesn't get any bids. You'd be better off picking up an '86+ Venture, triking it, and be in it for less money.... And if I were going to spend that kind of money I'd look at this one first TRIKE Edited August 23, 2008 by Condor
AZSpyder Posted August 23, 2008 #11 Posted August 23, 2008 I think its an interesting idea. I always liked the kit VW trike introduced in the 70's, This is an interesting way to do it. And you have the potential of making more power then the Venture along with easy to get parts. Jerry
