Eddy Posted August 21, 2008 #1 Posted August 21, 2008 I'm supposed to be getting my bike back today or tomorrow from all the repairs as a result of my accident 3 weeks ago. Is there anything in particular I should be looking for as I take it for it's first ride. To say the least, I'm a little anxious about it. TIA, Eddie:clap2:
halfwitt Posted August 21, 2008 #2 Posted August 21, 2008 Eddy - glad to hear you're almost back on the road. I don't know what to look for but I thought maybe if I bumped you back up to the top maybe some late risers could help you. Ride safe!
starcruiser Posted August 23, 2008 #3 Posted August 23, 2008 My bike is still in the shop...its been a week and I'm still waiting for an ESTIMATE! Good luck and be safe. Mark
Guest tessa c2 Posted August 23, 2008 #4 Posted August 23, 2008 what was all the damage to it? i had taken it easy on mine for a while, and tried to pisk up any differences on the handling of it, i still pay close attention on my tire wear, good luck:thumbsup2:
Bob Myers Posted August 23, 2008 #5 Posted August 23, 2008 If you want to do a medium pace country road ride I'd be happy to accompany you. Sunday would work best for me
Yammer Dan Posted August 23, 2008 #6 Posted August 23, 2008 Just take time to sit down beside it and look it over good to start.
mtman Posted August 23, 2008 #7 Posted August 23, 2008 Just take time to sit down beside it and look it over good to start. I agree with Dan... take your time to have a very good look at everything. I would look at it as if it were a new scoot that I had never been on before. Using the owner's manual as a check list, I'd go over everthing to see if/how it worked
