2006 RSTD and risers

Hello all - I did a quick search/read but am still a bit unsure.

Are there risers available for a 2006 RSTD?

My understanding is there is not a set of risers for the RSTD. I think it interfers with the speedometer. You would probably have to change the bars.

Many here have them. They did the trick for me: no more sharp pain between the shoulder blades after long rides. The risers will come into contact with the black plastic piece around the ignition key hole, but no damage (if you have the chrome cover, I understand that the chrome will crack).

 

It's an easy install, but is nice to have a friend there to tighten the bolts while you hold the bars in position. Of course, a pad or a few towels on the tank to prevent unsightly accidental dings should the bars slip when loosened. There is plenty of slack in the stock cables to install the Baron's extensions.

They have them for the RSV also....and handle bar riser will hit the switch cover but barely touching it..
