Don't ask me how this happens LOL, but if you have problems with the Class/CB panel cracking around the hold down screws this may help you. Since all of mine were cracked and broken, I removed all the screws (6) and replaced them with m4-0.7x25 metric screws. I also went to hardware store (home hardware in Canada) and picked up 6 beveled washers in size 00 in the facet section. Simply thread the screw through the washer and then through the panel. It's not as neat as the original recessed screws with caps, but it does hold the panel down and doesn't look all that bad. Hope this helps someone in the same situation. See attached photos.

Very innovative approach. A button head stainless fastener would look very good there. As yours, mine is broken too. I will try to find the same item as you to repair and also a button head screw

My panel broke up so badly that the ride class control broke through and almost bounced off the bike. I cobbled it back together by using gorilla glue and hack saw blades on the underside to support the cracks and then filled it with silcone to tie it all together. Doesn't look the best but still together after more than a year.
