Headlight Problem

My headlight burns fine on high but is very dim on low beam. I tried a new bulb but it didn't help. Any ideas? Some have suggested the contacts in the switch may be bad. Can this switch be opened to clean the contacts? Any other ideas?

Yep, carefully take apart, some springs in there, spray the cr*p out of it. Should fix it.
