BigBoyinMS Posted August 12, 2008 #1 Posted August 12, 2008 Well, I have searched and searched and found no answer... so I'll ask those who know. My wife is short and has short little legs. Her floorboards need to come up and maybe back a bit. Does ANYONE make anything to reposition them? I'm talking about the floorboards not the legs.
nickle Posted August 12, 2008 #2 Posted August 12, 2008 hey i could not find any higher either. so i toke mine and cut off mounting bracket. (the u shape that holds floorboard on) and took a piece of 3/16 " steel plate 3" in. high and same wide as u shape bracket . welded it on and you can use auto body filler to smooth tha weldes up . primer and glosss black paint than a coat of clear coat looks like came that way. you can take it to a black smith to have done too
BigBoyinMS Posted August 12, 2008 Author #3 Posted August 12, 2008 That is my next option if no one makes an adapter or extension. Thanks!
Tartan Terror Posted August 13, 2008 #4 Posted August 13, 2008 Someone on here made a nice set. Ill dig and see if I can find the thread. Chromed them and all.
boominup Posted August 13, 2008 #5 Posted August 13, 2008 Doesn't Diamond R make a set of convertible footrests? Brian
Tartan Terror Posted August 13, 2008 #6 Posted August 13, 2008 Check out this thread http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=19166&highlight=floorboards
juggler Posted August 13, 2008 #7 Posted August 13, 2008 Diamond R Accessories has Passenger highway pegs. They position the passengers foot a few inches higher and a little more forward. I just ordered Barons Adjustable Passenger floorboards that are supposed to lower the foot board and move it forward a bit. I have not seen floorboards that are higher than the normal position.
birin Posted January 24, 2015 #8 Posted January 24, 2015 Juggler I wanted to buy these Baron Passenger Floor Board adjusters. How have they worked for you? BIRIN
Freebird Posted January 24, 2015 #9 Posted January 24, 2015 Please note that this thread is from 2008. I think Juggler sold his bike and hasn't been around for a long time.
