FROG MAN Posted August 11, 2008 #1 Posted August 11, 2008 (edited) The sheffield mine in Franklin was our last great hope for fame and fortune. A new cabin and early retirement hung in the balance. The girls would get mad every time we ask ARE WE RICH YET? We did enjoy a little hill climbing on the first gens. No one got rich on this deal but Yammer Dan walked away seeing dollar signs. Something about opening up The Clay County Mine?? Edited August 11, 2008 by FROG MAN
MamaMo Posted August 11, 2008 #2 Posted August 11, 2008 Sorry didn't get rich. But I did end up with 8ct total weight of ruby's. Ok back to hoping to win the powerball. Had a blast though. Something to remember. Mini we will have to try again sometime but will have to Look for PAVED ROADS:rotfl:Sorry guys.

mini-muffin Posted August 12, 2008 #4 Posted August 12, 2008 Sorry didn't get rich. But I did end up with 8ct total weight of ruby's. Ok back to hoping to win the powerball. Had a blast though. Something to remember. Mini we will have to try again sometime but will have to Look for PAVED ROADS:rotfl:Sorry guys. Next time we call before we decide to go. Make sure it's paved. But I had fun too. My hands are still nice and smooth too. Margaret
Yammer Dan Posted August 12, 2008 #5 Posted August 12, 2008 I figure if they can sell DIRT 15 bucks a bucket the Crackheads in my neighborhood wood pay $20 if I told them I was mining Hydro's. Slip a pill in every other bucket and I'm on my way to having it made!!!!
FROG MAN Posted August 12, 2008 Author #6 Posted August 12, 2008 Dan you need to include a power ball jackpot guarantee the first of every month. One of those buckets is full of OXY. Need a fast first gen to make those bank deposits.
cecdoo Posted August 12, 2008 #7 Posted August 12, 2008 I dont know, but Dan sure dont look like he is workin too hard, Craig
Yammer Dan Posted August 12, 2008 #8 Posted August 12, 2008 I used to work (four letter word) for a living. I am now employed by the state. hardest thing I do is beat sombody up now and then(and we CHEAT)!!
krome rose Posted August 13, 2008 #9 Posted August 13, 2008 I had a ball in the mud looking for microscopic ruby and saphire bunny turds. I didn't expect to hit it big with a bucket of dirt, but the time spent with friends, thinking of riches and retirement, now that was priceless. The ride up there was an eye-opener, too. Never knew how beautiful mountains could be.
Yammer Dan Posted August 13, 2008 #10 Posted August 13, 2008 It was a good time but that road to the mine could stand a little work!!
SaltyDawg Posted August 13, 2008 #11 Posted August 13, 2008 It was a good time but that road to the mine could stand a little work!! Just what do you mean by "A Little Work"? I see nobody mentioned that the women REFUSED to ride down with us and walked to the bottom. That road needed an asphalt highway put on it.
bugfish69 Posted August 13, 2008 #12 Posted August 13, 2008 What do you mean we didn't get rich? Now we know what a dirty girl Mini can be! What more can you ask for.
Dano Posted August 13, 2008 #13 Posted August 13, 2008 Ahhh, a little dirt bike riding ain't much for a 1st gen,,,,,,,, I thought about throwing dual-sport tires on mine, just to make it fun,,,,,,,,,,,, but then again, I ride a 325 lb. 1977 IT400 Yamaha dirt bike for yaya's............. Dan
