I f so how do you like it how far forward does it fold. how does it attach. http://www.diamondraccessories.com/yamaha/proddisplay.php?name=RSV%20Overstuffed%20Backrest
SaltyDawg Posted August 10, 2008 #2 Posted August 10, 2008 Actually they are Diamond R back rests and they are easy as pie to install. Just take the drivers seat off, remove the two bolts that hold the passenger seat on put the seat bracket in place and use the two bolts that come with it to fasten the seat and back rest. Diamond R makes a great back rest, actually all there products are superb quality. I had one on my first 99 and really liked it.
Gray Ghost Posted August 10, 2008 #3 Posted August 10, 2008 I love mine. I can't swing my leg up over it when it is upright, but it makes the ride a whole lot better. It folds down pretty flat over the front seat.
adventurer 08 Posted August 10, 2008 #4 Posted August 10, 2008 i also have one on my rsv. it makes for a very comfortable ride with good back support.
Guest Vermincelli Posted August 10, 2008 #5 Posted August 10, 2008 I have a Saddleman seat with backrest but most of the time when I'm riding around town, (it's my daily driver) I turn the thing around and fold it down over the passenger seat.
Squidley Posted August 10, 2008 #6 Posted August 10, 2008 on all the responces, I just bought one from Diamond R and I love it. You wont find a better comapny to deal with or a better backrest, just buy it....you wont be disappointed
jburrell Posted August 10, 2008 #7 Posted August 10, 2008 I love mine and it especially when you have the hightway pegs. You put your legs up adn lean back into the back rest and its great crusing with the curise control keeping you motoring along. If you ever use one you will always use one. The comfort is excellent. jb
