turbota2 Posted August 9, 2008 #1 Posted August 9, 2008 I'm not sure is this the right place to put this..I was getting one of my bikes inspected yesterday at Autocycle. They have a beautiful '90 Venture royal with less than 40K on it. He is asking $3000. for it. Not sure if that is a good price but I wanted to let ya'll know about it. Let me know if anyone wants more info. Wayne
Squidley Posted August 9, 2008 #2 Posted August 9, 2008 That is a good price if it doesn't need a lot of work and is in good shape. I'm sure someone will chime in here and want more info, thanks for thinking of us

Guest ezornes Posted August 10, 2008 #8 Posted August 10, 2008 My First Gen always starts,,, Just a few things i check- before every ride. 1. Always keep several feet of jumper cable/because even with new batteries it wont charge right . I leave 3 brand new batteries in trunk . unfilled with acid (Just in case) 2. Couple bottles of brake fluid for seeping clutch slave cylinder----My Kingdon for a Goddam CAble operated clutch... in 35 years of riding I have never broken a clutch cable... and cables dont leak...... 3. Keep several bottles of coolant in saddle bags for the ever present drip around the goddam thermostat housing, that you cannot get to unless you remove the goddam exhaust system... 4.And least but not last. Keep a spray can of Electrowash, to spray out the ****ty connections from the stereo so you can enjoy the 1-goddam speaker that works only if your right ear is good.Other than that its just good as a 2nd gen....
