5th Anniversary VR?

I saw a real nice gold VR east of Rochester NY today in Wayne County. It had a tag on it that said "Fifth Anniversary". What model year would that be anyway? Also, if the owner could PM me for a quick question, it would be appreciated.

I believe that would be the '87 model.

I have one and ride thru wayne county all the time to work. Where did you see it (roads or place ). Then I can tell you if it was me. Nice to hear from another member anyways.

I just got one a few weeks ago.It is a 1987 with a sidecar.Took a lot of tlc to get it back to looking and running like it should.It had been setting for a while.But every thing works now Realy nice bike.I am in a small towm in fl.It was kind of a barn find.It is gold.
