venturejockey Posted August 4, 2008 #26 Posted August 4, 2008 I would say I feel your pain but I didn't break as many bones as you did. Those ribs are a witch arn't they? Mine are still sore and I had my accident nearly 8 weeks ago. Get well soon.

rsstar Posted August 5, 2008 #31 Posted August 5, 2008 Get well soon Boomer. My thoughts and prayers will be with you. I know how you feel being down. Had my own accident last year which will require qnother shoulder surgery and a knee surgery. But that's on hold until I heal up from the quadruple bypass surgery I just had 6 weeks ago. So, don't get discouraged, all will be right soon. Mending takes time; more time as you get older !!!!
BoomerCPO Posted August 5, 2008 Author #32 Posted August 5, 2008 Just a few words of thanks to all who have offered me best wishes. I am finally at the point where I can breathe without pain (darn busted ribs) and move around the house slightly faster than a 99 year old man with a triple dose of Viagra. The Dealer has the scoot torn down and now the waiting game for new parts to come in begins. Expected completion date for full repair/restoration is mid-September. I'm fine with that because my healing may take even longer than that.....grrrrrrrr. Again.....My sincere thanks to all of you. I have gained a tremendous amount of info about my Venture from this Site and the support from folks here I have never met has astounded me. Ride safe all........... Regards and respect to all............Boomer
