Columbo Posted August 1, 2008 #1 Posted August 1, 2008 I was talking with someone about my 2005 RSV which I think is top heavy, (love the bike)and they told me that if I was to change the front tire to a smaller size it would handle better. Can someone give me some info on this subject. Thanks !
Tom Posted August 2, 2008 #2 Posted August 2, 2008 I found that just running the stock Avons made a BIG difference but you will here from a very few that they dont like them..I have never tried the smaller tire and probably never will being that it handles like a dream with stock Venom sizes
Squidley Posted August 2, 2008 #3 Posted August 2, 2008 Ron, Here's a post that should answer all your questions http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=20815&highlight=Narrow+front+tire
cecdoo Posted August 2, 2008 #4 Posted August 2, 2008 I have the smaller avon front tire on mine, it does make the bike feel alot lighter, much easier to turn a slow speeds. It does feel alot lighter at highway speeds as well, doesnt feel quite as solid as the big front tire, but its nothing you wont get use to. Good luck with your choice. Craig
