Riderduke Posted August 1, 2008 #1 Posted August 1, 2008 I have been looking at these Heel rests for the passenger floorboards. A little pricey, but they seem like a good idea. I'm just not sure what they would look like. Does anyone have these on there bike? If so could you post a picture. http://www.cruisercustomizing.com/detail.cfm?action=detail&model_ID=42&Category_ID=6&manufacturer_ID=6&product_ID=7600&sblid_name=detail
pegscraper Posted August 4, 2008 #2 Posted August 4, 2008 Wow, I can't picture how those things are supposed to mount, or what their purpose is.
Squidley Posted August 4, 2008 #3 Posted August 4, 2008 It's only money Dave...just buy 'em and let us see them, you need to be a gineau pig at some point here
Riderduke Posted August 5, 2008 Author #4 Posted August 5, 2008 Wow, I can't picture how those things are supposed to mount, or what their purpose is. Riderduke Posted August 5, 2008 Author #5 Posted August 5, 2008 It's only money Dave...just buy 'em and let us see them, you need to be a gineau pig at some point here ONLY MONEY. I wish I could look at it that way. I might just order and see. If i don't like them I could always sell them to you. You meed more chrome on that new bike. BTW were you calling me a pig. Thats not very nice.
mraf Posted August 5, 2008 #6 Posted August 5, 2008 Holy-smoley! The price they get for some chrome widgets! Chrome anything put a outrageous price on it and wait. Capitalism at it's finest! Go ahead buy it. Squidly can always buy them from you, melt them down and make something else if you don't like them. I would be cleaning them off the bike the first time I came close to near missing some of the equipment around here. Backed into my backhoe bucket the other day just getting the bike out of the barn. Parked it there the night before, walked by it in the morning, got on the bike and thud. DUH! Cracked light lense and stupid.
pegscraper Posted August 5, 2008 #7 Posted August 5, 2008 No room for those things. Ground clearance is not enough as it is.
RedRider Posted August 5, 2008 #8 Posted August 5, 2008 No room for those things. Ground clearance is not enough as it is. Don't think it will scrape from the passenger foot boards. If so, there will be a lot of other things scraping first. RR

I already have highway pegs, but thanks for the thought, as far as calling you a pig.....I'll bet there have been others before me but I still, like you
vipermax07 Posted August 5, 2008 #10 Posted August 5, 2008 my wife has them on her 1100 v-star. they work very well. the mount is slotted so they can be turned a little. and they do sit up a little so they do not touch the ground when corning. they can also be moved around when mounting them to fit how you want.

Riderduke Posted August 6, 2008 Author #13 Posted August 6, 2008 Sorry, but I don't like the way they look. Just my 1.3 cents I agree, Kinda. I was hoping to get a picture of them on the REAR floorboards to see how they looked with the boards down and up. Just thinking of a way to get more comfort for passenger
