sarges46 Posted July 30, 2008 #2 Posted July 30, 2008 Hmmm...I think there are a couple of models of backrests out there. What kind do you have Dale? Is it the venture line or does yours go right into the seat? Can you post a pic of what you have. Someone can talk you through it then.
bongobobny Posted July 30, 2008 #3 Posted July 30, 2008 If it is a "Ventureline" the brackets with the big rectangular holes (diamond shaped that the backrest bracket goes thru and are secured by clevis pins) mount to both the bracket that the helmet locks are mounted on, and to the saddlebag crash bars on that rectangular area where the black plastic end caps are mounted. if you really need a picture I'll see what I can do but I'm kind of busy gettrin g ready for Asheville...
