Aftermarket carburetor diaphragms...are they for real?

Hi all,

There is a guy on ebay selling a set of first gen. VR carb. diaphragms new with a starting bid of $49.99. He even shows pics of the install right on the bid page. Could these be for real?

Has anyone ever used aftermarket carb. diaphragms for their first gen. with any luck?

not sure how to install those, but I can still get diaphrams w/slide for 60 apiece plus about 8 bucks shipping for all four...send me a pm and will get ya going i supplied them for about 10 people here so far.

Already been said, but you can get the real diaphragms for pretty close to the starting bid price, without installing them on old slides.

 

I remember a thread where someone discussed ordering the mikuni carb parts in bulk, and rebuilding diaphragms. Probably another forum, probably not even Ventures being discussed. These parts may be the real thing, but installing them yourself is a risk.
