84 Low Miles Whats it Worth???

Here in Newfoundland the prices on bikes have been creeping up as well. That said, I just picked up an '84 Venture with 70K for $1500.00 Personally I jumped all over the deal and probally wouldn't have gotten the bike if word had gotten out. The guy was eager to sell and I was in the right place at the right time (for once). I've seen similar bikes advertised for upwards of $3500.

I paid 600 for my 84standard in Oct. 06. Just put 1200+ change in rebuilding her from front to back, including 2nd gear, all orings and seals in the motor, etc. Pretty much if it could be rebuilt or replaced, it was. The only thing I didn't have time to do was the final drive. Year old tires (500) and miscellaneous (600-Road Sofa seat) stuff. I'm sure I could get what I invested & most of my labor back out of it if I was to sell it.
