star4772 Posted July 28, 2008 #1 Posted July 28, 2008 HOW ABOUT A LABOR DAY RIDE? BREAKFAST ON SAT. AUG 30TH AND RIDE SOME WHERE TO A OVER NIGHT STAY AND COME BACK ON SUN. THE 31ST. I KNOW ITS EARLY BUT IT WILL FILL UP FAST AT HOTELS. SO I WOULD LIKE SOME SUGESTIONS AS TO WHERE TO GO, AND WHO WOULD LIKE TO GO. I'M NOT MUCH OF A RIDE PLANNER SO I NEED SOME HELP HERE. ANY VOLUNTEERS? JOE
Black Owl Posted July 28, 2008 #2 Posted July 28, 2008 Joe, How about this for a suggestion. You could plan a ride over tot he Pork in the Pines. And with free camping you wouldn't need to worry about motel reservations. And Squidley can attest to the fact that it's not really that far a ride.

This is true but I think a 900 mile one way ride would be a bit much for a 2 dayer. No time to injoy all the company If I could leave on Friday morning and come back on Monday would be cool but no can do this trip. Thanks anyway one day we'll make it. Joe
