Guest Brad25ca Posted July 25, 2008 #1 Posted July 25, 2008 In my effort to get the CLASS system functional, I took the compressor apart to make sure the motor wasn't seized. I took the top off of the cylinder and the piston moves freely. The problem? There are small metal discs in the top...anyone have a picture of how they go back in? There seems to be more than one way, and Iwant to make sure when I get the new relay that this is functional. Thanks.
pegscraper Posted August 4, 2008 #2 Posted August 4, 2008 Those discs are probably check valves. I can't help much as far as how they go back in. While you have it apart, have you checked that the piston ring(s) aren't worn out or that the cylinder wall isn't galled? Maybe the check valves themselves aren't holding air when they're supposed to.
GeorgeS Posted August 4, 2008 #3 Posted August 4, 2008 Have you inspected the Electrical Plug about 6 inches from the Class Control head. Check for Loose wires here. This is a common problem .
